Choosing a Password<< Back to Account ManagementIntroduction After your NetID has been accepted by the system, you will be asked to provide a password. There are rules governing password selection. It is important to construct a password that is easy to remember and adheres to the following rules. Rules for Creating a NetID
Password Creation Guidance Creating a password that contains a minimum of 3 character classes means that you must include on character from at least 3 of the different categories. For example, ABC+345 would be valid because it includes uppercase letters, numbers, and a special character. Another example would be abC+4321 which has both upper and lower case letters, a special character, and numbers. Note: For your own security, do not use either of these examples as your password. |
